The Rules
- TV-14 Rating. First and foremost, this RPG forum has a TV-14 rating, or 2/2/2 for those familiar with the forum RP rating system. Violence is certainly permitted, but not in intense detail. Swearing is also allowed, with the exception of racial slurs. Finally, sexual content can exist in a limited capacity, fade to black rule must be used.
- Respect. Generally the golden rule on any RP site. Respect your fellow player's wishes, treat them the way you would like to be treated. This should be self explanatory for the most part, so I will not elaborate on it further, unless issues arise.
- No Godmodding. This should be another self explanatory rule. Under no circumstance are you allowed to control another players character or actions, without that player's consent. Even with that consent their character should always be portrayed respectfully.
- No Mary Sues/Gary Stews. All characters should have weaknesses and imperfections of some kind. Even characters with exceptionally high stats can have trouble, or run into bad luck on occasion.
- Face Claims and Accounts. F&D uses an account per-character system. This means: each character you play must have an account , or sub account of their very own. Further more, we allow all kinds of face claims with the exception of real people such as celebrities. The site strives for a fantasy ascetic, but not quiet animanga look. Anime-esque face claims are allowed, but not necessarily recommended for immersion. At the moment, players can created a maximum of three characters.
- Posting. Here in F&D, we seek to reward quality over quantity. For this reason, there is no minimum words per post rule, though it is recommended that a post be 200 words in length. Here, we give out rewards by post rather than word count. More on that can be found in Character Upgrades.
7. Timelines. The site works on a semi-liquid time line. Characters can be in as many threads as they like, however for every day that passes in real life, one day passes on the site.
(Final Note: Rules are subject to change as the site grows older, but for the time being, these are the main rules.)
