Unraveling it's secrets is one of his greatest goals, one that he has spent much time in pursuit of. He dislikes charging into situations head-on, preferring to strategize before anything he does.
Backstory:
Astra Darkmoon was born under a moonless sky, an omen some considered bad luck, but his elven mother, Selaria, saw it as a sign of mystery and potential. Growing up on the outskirts of Silverymoon, a city filled with arcane forces, Astra was surrounded by knowledge and magic from a young age. His father was a human scholar and astrologer, would often take him on midnight journeys, teaching him about the stars and constellations which filled the night sky. These quiet moments of reflection beneath the heavens instilled in Astra a sense of wonder and a deep curiosity for the cosmos and the unknown.
As a young half-elf, Astra felt like an outsider, torn between his human and elven heritage. His mother took little interest in him a few short years after his birth, and the surrounding elves never truly saw him as being one of them. Yet, it was in these early years, when he would begin laying the foundation for much of what was to come. He found an odd comfort in the balance of day and night, the time when both the sun and moon shared the sky. The shared darkvision lasts for 1 hour. Once you share it, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of any level to share it again.
